How to: Import a Paradox table.
Solution:
Open the database to which to import a Paradox table, select 'Get External Data' from the 'File' menu and select 'Import...', specify the Paradox file to import, and click 'Import'.
NOTE: Access supports Paradox or Paradox for Windows tables (versions 3.x, 4.x, and 5.0).
1) If the destination database (the database to which to import Paradox tables) is not already open, open the database.
2) (Optional) Activate its Database window:
a) Select the 'Window' menu.
b) Select the name of the database.
3) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Get External Data'. (A submenu appears.)
4) Select 'Import...' from the submenu. (The Import dialog box appears.)
5) Select 'Paradox (*.db)' from the 'Files of type' drop-down list.

6) Select the drive where the Paradox file is located from the 'Look in' drop-down list.
7) Select the folder that contains the file from the 'Look in' list box. (The Paradox file is displayed.)
NOTE: If the file is in a subfolder, continue selecting folders until the file is displayed.
8) Select the Paradox file. (The file is highlighted.)
9) Click 'Import'.

10) If the file has a password:
a) Type the password in the 'Password' box.
b) Click 'OK'.
11) Click 'OK' when the import is complete.
12) To import another Paradox table, repeat steps 6) through 11).
13) Click 'Close'. (The 'Import' dialog box closes.)
NOTE: OLE objects stored in an imported Paradox table cannot be opened from within Microsoft Access.
